So there were two thoughts. The first was about allowing more emotion into our working life through poetry. The second was about using poetry to create a sense of tranquillity through the exploration of emotion.

The first thought seemed important because we all bring only part of ourselves to work. What we show at work is the outer person. But what is really interesting is the inner person. Can we find ways to bring more of the inner person to work? If so, will we be more fulfilled in our total life? If so, will we actually do better work because much of our work needs to have an emotional content?

The second thought is about finding, or creating, the time and space to think.
